As We Begin Our 20th year…

We Remain Committed to Our Community & Our Mission.

We believe this ministry continues to have a positive impact in the community. The needs continue to be great in Genesee County and the surrounding area, and we remain deeply committed to our mission of seeing families flourish as we offer hope through barrier free resources.

The Ability to Pivot When Needed

We Know How to Pivot! Little Lamb’s CMC has demonstrated a remarkable ability to pivot and adapt to changing circumstances. From our humble beginnings 2004/2005 operating out of a closet within the walls of a church, to the 2012 expansion into a 1200 sq. foot facility across the parking lot, to the creation of both mobile units (MERV & MERV 2.0), to our most recent transition (2024) as property owners of a new center (with twice the space) across town, we have consistently risen to meet challenges head-on. Even during the Covid19 pandemic shutdowns, we were able to minister effectively while on the road, because of our ability to adapt and pivot. Each new phase of our ministry has taught us valuable lessons on how to overcome obstacles and stretch our imaginations, all while relying on God's provision and the support of our community. This has enabled us to continue our vital work of serving those in need.

We Are Better Together

More than just a hashtag used throughout our social media, it is a truth we cannot deny. We are made for community and over the last two decades at Little Lamb's CMC we’ve proved how much better we can be, how much stronger we are, and how much good we can do for our community, when we work together.

Where need has no zip code

Little Lamb's Compassionate Ministry Center (LLCMC) has been providing respite and hope to families in crisis in our community since 2005 when we first opened our doors to the public.

From it's simple beginning, an idea written on the back of a napkin in the middle of the food court, to today, a place of respite and hope where countless lives have been touched and changed.

Hope comes through a winter coat, a pair of sandals, a safe bed, a new car seat, an extra blanket, diapers, bottles, or toys to wrap and set under the Christmas tree.

Respite comes through a friendly smile, a warm embrace, listening to understand, times of celebration as well as lamenting life’s challenges, and always… hands and hearts to pray.

Caseworkers and teachers from local agencies share their stories of Little Lamb's CMC and the resources provided to their families.
